Background With a view to completing the 900km network by the end of 2010, a 'Programme to Completion' (PtC) for the LCN+ has been developed. This was launched on the 30th November 2007 at a conference to all London highway authorities. The PtC is a schedule of remaining work to complete each Link (based on the CRISP study programme) for the borough and TLRN network. The aim of the PtC is to focus the attention and resources of all project partners on network delivery across the final two years of the project. Overview There are four key stages involved in the delivery of the PtC, which are summarised below: 1. CRISP Study Programme analysis 2. Scheme Programming and Development 3. Scheme Delivery and Completion 4. Network Acceptance The PtC combines all relevant project and programme information available (Stage 1) and presents this into an overall network programme (Stage 2). The PtC is then used as an ongoing management tool, which is able to identify when Links are due for completion (Stage 3) and therefore ready for network acceptance (Stage 4). The PtC is a key management tool to assess programme delivery and completion. It is continually monitored and updated to provide a network overview of the work required to deliver the LCN+.
