The London Cycle Network is essentially a collection of
poorly-maintained, far-too-narrow, badly-signed bits-of-routes, large
parts of which can't be used safely anyway because they have cars
parked in them (perfectly legally in many cases because the routes are
more-often-than-not marked only by a cycle symbol on the road or a
dashed line). End of rant.
Maybe one day government in London will take cyclists seriously.
